The first reaction I got when I told people I was moving to Baltimore was concern. Baltimore is often known as a city with a high crime rate. However, the city is often misinterpreted. Baltimore Farmers Market is a true place that represents Baltimore and I wanted to create a website that people outside of the city can view. The website features the community, events, and produce at the market.
The MICA Internship Fellowship program provides students the opportunity to participate in a valuable summer internship experience. This motion was created to inform donors how they can help students with living expenses and transportation costs.
Alice Waters and The Trip to Delicious
by Jacqueline Briggs Martin, illustrated by Hayelin Choi. Afterword by Alice Waters
Chef Alice Waters has always been friends with food. The search for good food led Alice Waters to France, and then back home to Berkeley, California, where she started Chez Panisse restaurant and the Edible Schoolyard. For Alice, a delicious meal does not start in the kitchen, but in the fields with good soil and caring farmers.

"Can you name five female artists? Frida Kahlo, Georgia O’Keeffe … that’s two.
If you can’t think of more, know that most people the National Museum of Women in the Arts spoke to for a recent Women’s History Month campaign couldn’t, either — even those who considered themselves art savvy. Ask someone to name five artists, they said, and many people will give you the names of men."
This motion is to celebrate and raise awareness of women artists in the history inspired by a PBS article by Elizabeth Flock.
Inspired from the article "Seeing Commitments: Jonah Groeneboer’s Ethics of Discernment" by David Getsy, this animated poster depicts the voice the artist brings into his work.
How can children have fun when they are brushing their teeth? This interactive game app helps children to brush their teeth for two minutes twice a day with songs they like. The child creates a fairy that acts as their guide. After brushing their teeth with their personalized fairy, they get a reward sticker to stay motivated.
“Don’t go too close to the painting!” This is what I used to hear all the time at the museum as a kid. To create a positive experience at the museum, I built an interactive app for children, where they can touch and learn about paintings and sculptures at The Walters Art Museum. Ipad was a perfect platform for this project because children are often drawn to the object, and pointing is very natural to them. Since images are mapped out on the screen, it’s easy for the children to guide themselves.
